This site is now very inactive and the entire project is on indefinite hiatus.

When I started this web site, few anime series would make their way out of Japan. Fansubs were just emerging, were of very low quality and some were still being distributed on VHS. Anime information wasn't exactly easy to come by and much of it had to be translated from Japanese. Today, just about every series and movie released is available in fansub format and many get licensed for release on DVD. There are anime fan websites everywhere and this site has become more of a dusty museum than anything else.

I started the project when I had an interest in anime and much more free time in my life. In time, we all have to grow up. We get a job, get married, have kids, raise a family, etc.. and time for things like this just aren't available to us anymore. I haven't been watching anime for quite some time, yet kept up the site as a hobby. Eventually, I lost interest and this site became more of a chore than a fun hobby. When I completely missed all of the series information for fall 2008, and couldn't maintain the site, it felt more like a relief than anything else. I simply can't keep up and don't want to continue.

I'm keeping the site available for nostalgia purposes and for whoever still wishes to browse. I appreciate all the help I received to build and collect the data I have. My good friend, Masashi, was instrumental in obtaining information from Japanese sources and I couldn't have done it all without his assistance. I'm sure he's happy that I won't be bugging him anymore to help research and translate. The site will not be moving forward with new information, but I may go back and make edits that seriously need them. There are pages that need reformatting, proper pictures and some descriptions. Don't expect many changes, and don't expect them soon.
